Terms of sale and refund policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These terms apply to guides sold by The Proposal Shortlist ("we", "us") through theproposalshortlist.com. By buying, you agree to them. Questions? Email [email protected].

Our paid guides aren't on sale yet. These terms will apply to every purchase once they are. The free Scorecard is available now, with no purchase needed.

What you're buying

Our paid products are digital PDF guides delivered by download after purchase. Nothing physical is shipped. Prices are in US dollars, and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

14-day no-questions refund

If a guide doesn't help you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase from the email address you used at checkout. We'll refund you in full to your original payment method. You don't need to give a reason. Banks usually take 5–10 business days to show the refund.

Your license

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the guide for your own proposal planning. Please don't resell, share, or republish it, or upload it to file-sharing sites.

No guarantees

Our guides offer general planning suggestions and opinions. We can't guarantee any outcome, including your partner's answer, weather, or vendor availability. Costs are rough estimates that vary by location, season, and vendor, so confirm details with vendors before you book. You're responsible for following local rules, venue policies, and safety precautions.

Third-party products and links

We may mention or link to third-party products, services, or websites. We aren't responsible for them. See our affiliate disclosure.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a guide is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
